Flooding is not the responsibility of the Parish Council, but is managed by other government departments such as the Environment Agency, Norfolk County Council and the Water companies. Flooding can sometimes be the responsibility of the private landowner. Who is responsible all depends on where the flooding occurs and who is responsible for the drainage on that land.
When the Parish Council becomes aware of flooding issues, we will work with the other departments or water companies to try and address issues for our village.
