The Memorial Hall Trustees and the Parish Council are working together to try and resolve the issues of poor drainage on the village recreational field. It is unclear at this stage as to the exact cause of the problem, as various investigations so far have proved inconclusive. • Lodge Park Play Area Bins

The litter bins in Lodge Park Play Area, are being relocated by the Kings Lynn & West Norfolk Borough Council, as their contractors will not empty the bins in the play area. The contractors will only empty from roadside locations. The new bins will be located at the entrances at Bewick Close and Shelduck drive. Please bear with us as we liaise with the BC over this. We hope the new bins will be in situ shortly. There is still a useable bin at the entrance from Lodge walk/ Lynn road. Thanks for your patience

  • Christmas Fair Road Closure 7 December 2024

Lynn road will be closed for the Christmas market on Saturday 7 December 2024 between 3pm – 9pm-between the Coop and the corner of Old Church Road. See Road Closure Notice and Map

  • Update on Church Road Play Area

We know that so many of the children are raring to go, and use the new play equipment. The situation remains that we are still waiting on the contractor to finish. Unfortunately it is not within our control, apart from chasing. Equipment for the group swing is awaited from a third party supplier. We have been told the equipment was “dispatched” and is on-route. Once it has arrived, the ‘snagging list’ and re-surfacing will also be done at the same time. Once finished the new equipment also needs to be inspected by ROSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents). We were hoping for an update at some point today. Please bear with us, we are doing our best to chase and get this completed. Lodge Lane Play Area is still open for play.
